I don't dislike Bebop, I think it was well executed. The fight chereography was great, the characters were likeable, the OST is amazing, etc. Just saying that everything about it is characteristic of the sci-fi and action genres in anime, it's the very definition of genericism, saying it doesn't indulge in any anime tropes is just untrue.
