they'd modernize it. for the animators sake too, because the style is a bit too vague for animation.

you might be right. I'd feel like it might be loosing something in doing so.
One thing that would worry me if they did try modernizing it is that the characters would need to remain as distict as possible and I think that might be difficult unless a lot of care went into the modernization process.

the designs will depend on how good the character designer is. i think with a pretty style this might even get popular. i'd rather have this than all the half assed noitamina originals we've been gettingthat being said, it probably won't happen

if its not cheaply or lazily done, it'd really make good anime. i would definitely prefer some modernization-modification, after all it's not going to overwrite the manga out of existence.
