I don't understand the obsession with general threads. Any show about an anime is technically a general thread, the only alternative is a show being banned, or posting more than 1 thread about a show, which usually gets deleted (for example after an OPM episode). Yeah that's true. For me it seems to be a case by case basis. For example there's some shows you can only talk about in a general, or that get trolled outside of it, for example recent Gundam shows. So in that case it seems like the best option. It may piss people off since it's more organized and less spontaneous than how 4chan was, but it seems similar to 2ch mega threads to organize by general threads.
