>not watching old school anime on CRT TVs
There is literally zero advantage to using a CRT cancer box over a decent IPS panel. I wish the CRT meme would just die.

but I do anon, anything I have a vhs for gets watched on an old crt.
Talking about CRTs.
I know Steins gate as a whole is retarded and that's the point but I still don't understand how the CRT TV works as a lifter for time travel.
When I was younger I never noticed that high pitched ringing from CRTs. Now I can't seem to have one on for more than 20 minutes without getting a headache.

I thought it was a phone and a microwave but maybe it had something to do with the vacuum tubes or filters used in crts? I don't really remember.

and the CRT that needs to be turned on is 42". the biggest CRTs sold to the public were only 40". steinsgate is shit

The phone sends waves into the microwave, the microwave somehow has a black hole in it but the CRT TV works as a lifter. Which means it opens the event horizon for the phone's message to pass through.

Old shitty interlaced video like OP has usually looks better on a CRT than upscaled on a LCD display.
>>134934906
ahhhh thanks, I must have missed that explanation but its been a while since I watched it.
