Well that seems easy enough; you don't have all the baggage that comes with being a fan of the original anime. To me, the music in Super isn't right, the sound effects aren't right, and the art isn't right. The only thing carrying the show is it's cast, but with Joji Yanami's performance and subsequent removal from the show.... it's a reminder of how quickly that all can change...

Movie sucks and nowhere near as enjoyable and memorable as Kikuchi, the animation is fucking cheap shit and another thing that I just noticed is that there are no emotional moments in Super. I just watched the latest episode where Piccolo gets in front of Gohan so he wouldn't get blasted by Frieza's attack. An obvious homage to the Saiyan saga when the same thing happened. Except in the saiyan saga, it was actually emotional. You felt for Piccolo dying trying to save Gohan.
In Super, I felt nothing. There is no real tension and the music doesn't seem to sync with the moment.. it's just badly executed all around.
It really is no better than GT. But at least GT had good animation and good music.
