It's more their fusion requirements that don't fit the need. Cat Dance is easily the best one out of the bunch but even she got tackled with a pointless effect like burn damage.
Panther Dancer is a decent field wipe but you would have think it'll offer a bit more protection than it has like battle destruction immunity to boot or at least have an effect tackled on that prevent card effects from activating in the battle phase.
Lio Dance while basically immune to almost anything still has the hoop jumping requirement to summon it. And it irks me to think that going into Utopia the Lightning is enough to kill this supposed juggernaut. As well, her destruction effect, the one saving grace for this card is reduced to SS only.
Really the requirements for these monsters is what really kills them. And the deck does nothing to fix that.
Depending on how it;s handled, the pendulums will literally be the clutch that holds the deck together.
And no, I was not looking for a cheap removal effect. If anything, I want protection from that.

Serena is Fusion/Pendulum, neither Ruri nor Rin have actually duelled yet, and Yuzu is pure Fusion. I didn't see any of this coming 50 episodes ago. I didn't even see it coming 3 episodes ago.
At this point, I just want Yuya (and maybe Yuto) to teach Yuzu how to duel in the manga, while they're at her dad's school, so that she can actually join in and not just watch. I have no idea what the anime is doing, so I'm just going with the flow there.

Anyone notice the influx of "waifus" in Yugioh?
Aside from the Ruris and other relevant females in Arc-V plus suddenly-the-most-attractive Anzu from the new movie, as well as whatever cards we get in the OCG that some players might like:
Kaiba and his Blue-Eyes waifus (to be fair, he also has male cards, and his Dragons, too), Yugi and his Black Magician Girls, and Yuya and his EM Waifus (if the pattern continues and he ends up having a deck full of EM waifus).

The recent movie stuff has made me notice that Arc-Vhas a lot more cute boys.
So if Yugi's Dark Magician and Girl are going to be in the April set, does that mean the fruit magicians are going to be printed in that set and he'll be getting a Magician girl xyz and fusion or synchro? I mean, Synchro has to end by April but it's too early to start filling sets with xyzs instead of synchro monsters by then. Plus, looking at how the magician girls look, berry-tan is the youngest, most likely a level 1, it could totally be a tuner monster. Kiwi looks to be the oldest one and has a hat like Dark Magician of Chaos. she could be a ritual or a level 6 like Dark Magician Girl.
God damn, Dark Magician's deck is literally gonna be him, his Alternative self and his harem of bitches.
