Has it caught fire yet?
>>134890785
Yesh the fire rises!
In my heart it has!
>>134891794
That must hurt.
I love it but it will never be popular anime.
Does the OP have a christmas feeling to anyone else?

Always for me
Would you?
>>134895074
Is it a seal?
>>134895479
No.
Well there goes our yearly KKK thread quota.
>>134895732
Fuck
>>134895783
Pretty sure we just went over it actually.
My HDD containing KKK images did.
Had to convert to jpg original is too large (4.3mb).

2013 was a good year for anime though we all thought it was shit at the time.
Is this one of those shows that's genuinely good like Toradora?
>>134898981
>>134898994
It wasfun. Just give it a shot rather than asking.
>>134899034
>>134899034
But I ask threads showing appreciation of a show if it's good in case they say it's shit
>>134898994
Other than the school set-up, they're not really comparable. It's more in the reign of Yuru Yuri and Hidamari Sketch. Bunch of shenanigans, but lots of fun. Great anime to watch over the summer.
I still watch it every now and again.
>>134890785
It did anon. But the flames died out.
>>134898994
Its my ongoing theory that Slice of Life anime watchers are the most chill and have the longest memories for their SoL shows. This is why you can still see azumanga threads when there hasn't been any content for years, even if people don't translate the manga.
Compare that to franchises like EVA and Code geass that are still putting out new movies and its night and day. Though EVA and FMA are the type of anime that would come up in any discussion, I think SoL anime fans always had a corner of their hearts dedicated to each show.
Hence, the threads can be filled with nothing since the shows were basically nothing special but cute girls and comedy.
I watched this last year after seeing a thread like this. The show was clumsy, but very charming. It caught fire with me at least.

I know you probably didn't post this because of the yugioh reference during the shiratori episode in the series but since I watched that episode more times than necessary it gave me a good chuckle.

Yes.

Kitakubu has a very special place in my heart.
Also, does anyone have stitches?
>>134904324
No.
It's dead Jim
>>134907200
>>134906574
fucking "seal"
almost as bad as evol's "cat"
well at least they had a clubbing joke... I think
>>134907200
As long as it's alive in our hearts it will never die.
>>134890785
what's this
>>134909225
The KKK anime.
>>134909225
An ancient evil has awoken, and only with the power of five girls may it be defeated.
Together, they are called the KKK.
Incidentally the bad guy is a NIGGER
Weird and sad how among the main seiyuu most of them have dead careers now. Either they never had another role or they're stuck doing bit or background roles now, which is even sadder when you consider that KKK was their first anime ever.
>>134909687
>the seal's VA has a better career than all of them
My playlist is on a KKK character song.
>>134909687
Botan-chan probably married a salaryman and spends all his money on gigolos.
Since in japan you give all the money to the women for some reason.
We're dead now
>>134895074
Would what?
>almost 50 posts
This must be a new record, maybe the fire isn't completely dead after all.
>>134890785
I like the Chronicles of the Going Home club.
What about the manga? Was it canceled?
>>134909225
>>134912190
I don't know if it was cancelled but it ended. The author's doing a new series News x It.
I'd join the fun but it's still in my backlog.
>>134912751
Do it anon, it's fun.
>>134909687
Most people going to castings never get any roles in their lives.
KKK went for no-name girls, and after that no one else picked them up. It's sad but that how an over-saturated market works.
I just want more roles for Sakura I love her voice.
Here, let me fan this spark a bit more!
I miss all those tsukkomis even though most people seemed to hate all the yelling.
So when did KKK really catch fire for you? For me it was the shiritori game.
>>134916446
The fourth episode, when they sort of admitted that the first three episodes weren't too great to throw people who strictly follow the three episode rule off.
Is there a single better retorter in all of anime?
>>134916038
>>134916446
During the first episode I was thinking ugh, what is this cheap manzai writing
By the second episode I was hooked
>tfw you downloaded this when it was airing but took a few glances at the first couple of episodes and deleted the shit from rss and ssd
What was her name again?
>>134916911
>We fooled you by sucking
>Now you won't watch our show or buy our blurays
>Joke's on you
>>134917774
You aren't the only one. KKK is one of the few shows I tell people to break the 3 episode rule for.
>>134919156
What a masterful ruse.

>I was only pretending to suck

Or maybe they chose the three weakest episodes to air first, who knows what went through their director's head. All I know is that I'm glad someone did it.
