I give up on Digimon World. I started playing it after finishing Re:Digitize, and recently recruited Greymon for the city. I appreciate that it's more difficult and I enjoy the core gameplay, but it's just not fun.
Training your Digimon is fine, but having to grind (or spend hours with that shitty fishing minigame) just so you can afford to buy random cards, and then hope you can scrape together enough rare ones to get a key item (the better rod) from TonsamaGekomon is bad game design. There's also too many things based on plain randomness, like being able to encounter Piccolomon.
Add to that being unable to save more than once per day and the ugly graphics, and it's just time I could be spending much better.

It's not difficult at all. In fact, you rarely need to really think at all while playing Digimon World. It's a game that requires no skill or intelligence. All it requires from you, the player, is a level of tremendously patience that most normal human beings aren't willing to offer it.
