What anime are /a/ fond of that aren't big series? Mine is pic related, I really liked it because it was a complete and utter parody of the harem genre and it wasn't afraid to show it. It also had a lot of clever brick jokes and visual gags

Baka and test was fantastic.
I guess mine would have to be Sabagebu. Everyone I talk to shits on it but in my opinion its really funny and just a great show all around.

Just watched this last week, ended up liking it way more than I expected.
I had added it to my list late some night so I forgot why I added it. From the synopsis you'd think it was the textbook shitty LN anime.
It's like they took every annoying cliche (battle academy, violent/jealous girl, pink princess, wacky pervert, etc.) and spun them all to be really enjoyable. Didn't expect the art style to be so good either. Took a page out of SHAFT's book without being obnoxious about it.
And of course it gave us the miracle that is pic related. Season three motherfucking when?
