I didn't find this show very entertaining; I mean the side characters were pretty interesting Ebina and that girl with the gurren lagann chick's eyes. But like they weren't around often enough, it was just Umaru's occasionally slightly funny but not really that entertaining or endearing antics, I just like stopped watching it halfway or slightly further than half way 7? 8? through.
