literally what

She's not a nun or something, she's just a member of a royal family. even British royal family are allowed to date and party without MI5 getting involved

The entire point is that they're manipulating information and making an unnecessarily huge deal out of it just to attack Ikki and get him to drop out.

It's LN writing, what did you expect?
Authors will push any bullshit for the sake of shitty drama
>>
Expecting otaku to know of anything other than idol culture
>>
>>134768316
Except that even with all the info manipulation literally nobody who reads news should care and their attempts at playing the news would fall flat.

They know the whole thing is retarded, it's a sham and spoinning it in the medias is standard character assassination.
>>

Yeah, the problem being that in any sensible world literally nobody gives a shit if the papers are playing up some kind of manufactured scandal involving a princess from a literally where Eastern European country.

You think?
People do buy shit like the Daily Mail or the New York Post in real life. It must be even easier in Rakudai's Japan since the country is corrupt as fuck.
They don't even need the mass to believe it, as long as it creates a pretext to harass the guy to quit the knights or get him killed.

This clearly isn't going to work like the first world in 2015 does, you idiots. That should have been clear from the start when a noble family had enough influence to make schools fail students arbitrarily.

Also they locked him up. He has no idea how the public is reacting. Even if they don't care, he could be tricked into thinking it's a huge deal and be harassed into quitting.

British Royals are not the same as Japanese Royals.

Japanese Royals still live a rather secluded life compared to the Brits. The Japanese were shocked, for example, that the Queen and her personal room was filmed for a sequence in the London Olympics. Japanese Imperials Family is still old fashioned and secretive.
