Monogatari isn't even particularly long for LN standards, it's just that it's fully adapted. Owari 1 is a book about the main characters past and motivations and the proper introduction of the villain, and Owari 2 basically fills a hole in the story about what he was doing during Tsubasa Tiger.
Off-season is probably milking, but at this point Nisio writes one book in a whole year and people can buy if they want to see side stories with the characters.

At some point she stopped muttering.
The only way in or out was the door.
It had been locked when Sodachi opened it and noticed her mother was gone.
If the mother had left the room she must have found where Sodachi had left the key and locked it from the outside before disappearing.
There's no real reason for her to have bothered to do that.
The home was full of trash, so bad that Sodachi thought it better to move rather than try to clear it out.
If you couldn't see what those clues were pointing to then you aren't familiar with this sort of mystery writing and how you're supposed to use the clues, because it's a really easy one.

It's pretty decent. Lost feels like a poor man's Hana that spoonfeeds you most of the story via Hanekawa and Ougi, but Mail has some nice interacting themes going on and is attempting to address one of the biggest plot points to Araragi and Shinobu's character. It's pretty serious compared to most of the series overall, so those looking for the lighthearted Monogatari might not enjoy it as much as others.
Overall I'd say this season is a little better than SS, but not quite as good as Bake, Nise, or Hana.

The last few seasons didn't really have a lot of the latter it was mainly the first 2 which had araragi getting the shit kicked out of him, but they kept the fanservice, I can get past that being censored but I don't wanna see araragi get mutilated or something like that and be stuck looking at a completely blacked out screen, that just drives me nuts.
