2015 /a/ is much less belligerent. If there were to be a secret santa then- I feel like 85%-90% of anons would have grinched. Got sick of being a NEET, found myself at a job in the "real world" with a relationship and friends and such.
After a while I got immensely depressed and suicidal. The normal life I had always glamorized and idolized and coveted in my head turned out to be empty and inconsequential. I left everything and I have gone back to knowing no-one and doing largely nothing other than watching anime and playing video games all day. I'm still depressed, but I've found some solace in coming back here. I came back about a week ago and have been lurking non stop. I guess it's a good time killer, and I feel welcome here.

To OP and to all of the returning oldfags, /a/ has changed. It has become a casual location for recomendations and discussions. The fun of old is now hard to find and threads move as slow as a snails pace. The elitism is slowing dieing out but still nevertheless present. Come here now to enjoy a different slice of the anime life. Do not expect the same from time before.
