What's the worst series you've ever watched/read, /a/? I'll start: Fairy tail.
Eureka Seven Ao.
The problem is that the production quality was actually there, just the writing was absolute trash, especially that ending.
That said, I usually avoid series I feel will be shit, so it's actually hard coming up with one that's shitty across all fields.

I enjoyed the original too.
It really depends. I wanted to see more of the material no matter what, despite /a/ warning me.
I just treat Ao as some sort of AU fanfiction at this point (like the movie).
If you're someone who would regret seeing a really bad sequel and feel like it'd ruin the entire series for you, then don't.
It really lacks the impact of the original, has a few "good" moments, and kind of, for the most part runs as a 'Monster-of-the-week' until around the last third/quarter of it.
Actual spoilers:None of the original cast show up except Renton and Eureka. Yes, there's no mention of Dominic or Anemone anywhere. Or Holland. There's a Gekkostate easter egg, and the Gekko also makes an appearance, but that's it.Plot revolves around time travel shenanigans.As such, Ao essentially renders the entire timeline of the anime non-existent by overwriting the past.

The worst anime besides the repeating neve-ending mainstream bullshit like ft, dragon ball (i said it), bleach... is Soul Eater.
It had amazing art and the anime took the plot to shit and the manga didn't do a satisfying job either.
