I never knew how much I want a monstergirl in my life until I started reading this a few days ago.
But where does the appeal come from? Is it enough to design a character that has a rough female form to make it attractive?
Is is unhealthy for us to like these girls or be attracted to them?

The appeal is that most monstergirls are animalistic and naive about human society and social norms, thus making them less like the kind of human women that would be disgusted by you in real life, and easier to imagine yourself in a relationship with.

I just think that's because the design it's appealing and particular, you find plenty of dark haired schoolgirls in anime that you can't even distinguish them anymore. Monster girls are all very particular and characteristic and sometimes the design emphasize the nature.

I always figured monstergirl fans have some repressed bestiality issues. most of them don't even have human vaginas and when you bring up ones that do they say it's just wearing monster costumes and not real monster girls.
