Medieval Dragon Ball. That's certainly how I would describe Nanatsu to first time readers.
But poor man's dragon ball? I think Nanatsu does certain things better. Other things worse.
In the end, the series can be compared, but in the end, they're different series. So once you're familiar with the series, calling it "medieval dragonball" seems a little unfair.
