I think you just don't get it, OP. Monogatari really ain't much if you approach it like a harem. It's more about combination of Nisio's writing and SHAFT's animation style.

Monogatari chain (from Bake up to the end of SS) was the fourth anime title I've watched in my life, and damn I enjoyed the fuck out of it.
