She never 'cheated' on Kurosawa, because she was never romantically interested in him in the first place. The reason she spent time with him is probably because she enjoyed his company and liked talking about books with him. Kurosawa never made an actual move. It's just his self-centered view that made him believe she was interested, when in reality she was just as nice to everybody else as she was too him.

He starts off as a somewhat likeable asshole with a relatable motivation (guarding squirrel girl/punishing her bullies) and matures as the story goes on.
I thought it was handled pretty well and nothing was really overblown or edgy. I know this guy >>134642043 basically said that it was and he is not wrong in his claim that most anons would probably react differently, though I don't think such a reaction is too far fatched, since she is still a young and naive girl who has only ever gone as far as kissing a guy. Also, if I recall correctly, compared to the other cases of jizz on personal belongings, she got a huge load onto almost everything she owns. I think it's understandable to regard her case as something more personal and connect the culprit's motivation with more hatred than in the other cases. Additionally, keep in mind that she is probably the person who goes the most out of her way in order to avoid stepping on anyone's feet and make them like her ever since she decided that she wanted to be more extroverted. With the other cases, everyone knew it was some sort of punishement and even though it was still disgusting, people knew they had it comming. It must have been a pretty big shock to have someone like her receive an even worse penatly than the others.
