Why do people like to discuss comparisons between second strongest characters of their respective series so much?
Can we instead take some time to discuss who would win in a clash of these two titans?

The question is though, would satan even pay attention to how tough king seems? The guy has no qualms going after people 100's of times stronger than he is, satan is only ever really intimidated after someone shows their power, and even then he made good friends with buu.

Satan is actually pretty strong for a completely normal human.
King is just an Otaku that looks badass.
Reminder that Satan is about as good at being a bullshitter as King is so I'd actually consider him a great counter to King.
Assuming Satan isn't intimidated out of trying to fight at all, he'd kick King's ass.
Satan is actually pretty much worthy of his title of "World's Strongest Man" when you factor opponents without knowledge of ki.
Meanwhile, King looks very intimidating but has little (if any) actual combat strength.
I don't think Satan has a problem going against normal dudes. I mean, remember the guy has competed in a shit load of martial arts tournaments so he's probably seen his fair share of scary-ass mofos. If anything, he'd probably see right through him due to being sort of a fake himself.
