That was unnecessary.
>>
i was about to post caps from the same scene lol
>>
Fujita knows what's up
>>
This was the only episode that I found funny and enjoyed.
>>
Wow Tora.

Anyone else enjoyed Mayuko's agony noises?
>>
This episode is absolutely necessary.

Cool. Can't wait to watch when I'm home. I'm not a mangafag but I've been enjoying this more and more every week, as each episode and arc gets better.

Why isn't this more popular here?

this is a great reaction face

Don't know why but Mayuko and Tora interaction is way better than Ushio and Tora for me.
>>
>>134621870
It's a fact. else why did the author kept this mini arc
>>
>>134621838
I'm an animefag and they already made it clear who's winning the Ushiobowl.
>>
>>134622110
I dont really remember the order of this arc in the manga but it was much needed character development for Mayuko as she was gonna be the next woman holding the seal and for Tora to get even closer to his human side.
>>
My waifu.
>>
The furrybait was strong this episode
>>
>barely escape from supernatural battle
>get stuck on department store storage
>of all things, put on a wedding dress
Is Mayuko autistic?
>>
This put a big smile on my face.
>>
Why are there smug scientists in the opening if they still haven't shown up with 2 episodes left?
>>
>>134625913
Because they look cool. Same reason Tora in the train fight is in the opening.
>>
>>134624354
She is very bubbly and not autistic
>>
>>134626108
I think that the battle of the op takes place in the scientist arc too
>>
Did it stop being a monster of the week show yet? I dropped it after ep 3.
>>
>>134627134
It stopped being that 20 episodes ago.
>>
>>134627440
Ok I will resume watching it then.
>>
>>134622110

they both will end together, right /a/?
>>
>>134627134
Last episode that had absolutely nothing to do with the main plot was episode 6, but it was the first part of a story that sets up the main plot. Episode 5 had no bearing on the overarching plot, but introduced a character that will help out during the main plot.
>>
>I want to wear this and be Ushio-kun's bride
This is so heartbreaking. Fuck.
>>
This is definitely a show most anons need to give a chance and power through the beginning. Definitely one of the better anime of 2015 easy.

Mayuko's sweater makes her look absolutely jacked. I bet she can bench 450, easily.

Every girl acknowledged who he loved, I don't know how anyone can think he'll end up with Mayu.
>>

I meant about Tora
>>
>>134627079
Train fight is nowhere near the scientists arc and there will be no space for it if these last two episodes are the scientists. The train was the first normal fight after Ushio turned back to normal and returned from ancient China.
>>
>>134629026
its just so consistently enjoyable and fun that its definitely in my top 5

Episode of the season all seasons. RIGHT. HERE.

I don't even remember the manga chapter being this good. But the adaptation was fantastically directed.

Right into my 3x3 of favorite episodes it goes.

I just finished reading the manga and this left me most unsatisfied of everything that happened during that long final arc.
>>
As someone who dislikes shonenshit, I really have to say that Ushio to Tora was a big surprise. I'm really digging this shit, it's one of the best things airing right now, that old school chemistry between Ushio and Tora is just awesome. Also, it has a tsundere character that doesn't suck, colour me surprised. And Mayako's a cute, CUTE!
>>
>>134629448
That why I say that the battle in the op is not the one in the train, but the one against the chimera-thingy of the scientist arc
>>
>>134631710
Oh. Sorry.
>>
>>134627134
The monsters have an origin. Tora's involved with the whole thing.
>>
So she is a furry.
>>
>>134631703
Because it's old shounen
>>
>>134632366
>Because it's old shounen
I suspected as much, from the genuine creepiness to the overall energy and feel of the show. Not to mention this being 26 (?) episodes (or a two cour season like the kids say nowadays). Is the manga worth it? I'm having a great time with this series.
>>
>>134632709
Let's just say that, for time constraints, they've cut a fuckton of not only chapters, but even somewhat important characters (miss muh college students turned fucking gods ).

Also, the manga has much more blood and nudity.
>>
>>134632709
Read the manga, it's pretty good.
>>
>>134632709
Read it. A lot of content was cut for the adaption and even that is top notch and every event ties in in the end.
Then go start reading Karakuri Circus
>>
Juvenile lol.
>>
>>134632848
>>134632855
>>134632958
Thanks, mangafags. I'll give this one a read.
The old stuff had lots of blood and nudity for some reason, even the shonen stuff. I'm very surprised that this creepy shit was able to pass through the censors, though I don't know to what extent they had to tone it down.

I was afraid that 2015 was going to be a meh year for a anime, but this season has been pretty good.
>>
>>134633437
If I remember correctly, the chapter on which this episode is based has lots and lots of pantyshots.
>>
>>134629198
I'm ok with this.
>>
>>134632958
>go start reading Karakuri Circus
More like go read Wicked Eyes Fly to the Full Moon.

Also once you read it you'll realise how many popular shounen fighting/fantasy manga ripped it off. Shit was really popular in the early 90s.

I am now waiting for someone, literally anyone, to realise we should adapt more old shounen fighting manga and maybe we'll get the Rokudenashi Blues anime we have always deserved.
>>
>>134636463
>Adapt more good old shounen
>Adapt less LN battle academy haremshit
I'd lose my mind if that happened. Next thing you know, we'll get 2 original /m/ shows per season with hand drawn animation, and they run more than one cour.
>>
>>134636751
I still want a full adaption of Hoshin Engi.
>>
Mayuko best girl.
>>
>>134636463
Crows first.
>>
>>134636751
I didn't come into this thread for feels.

>>134636854
Let's not get into this in this thread. But RokuBlues is the GOAT delinquent manga and deserves adapting the most (and would probably make the most money, especially if they did it while it was running).

Speaking of all of this there was a very brief cameo of Ushio and Tora in a chapter of KKOW which was cool.
>>
>>134636991
The best references to Ushio to Tora are in Hyakko.

And no fucking way, Crows (the original, fuck Worst) >>>>> Rokudanshi Blues.

I mean, they're both great, but Crows had this Slam Dunk atmosphere going on.
>>
>>134636991
>I didn't come into this thread for feels.
Sorry if I gave you a case of the blues.
>>
Literally got a dripping boner last week to Hakumen mom.
I'm so fucking sad we'll never see her again.
>>
>>134637233
yiff in hell
>>
>>134637067
We should take this to the existing delinquent thread because I don't want to further shit up the Ushio And Tora thread arguing with you about why it is a literal crime that WSJ didn't adapt Rokudenashi Blues. I like Crows a lot but no man.
>>
Hoshi no Samidare
>>
>>134637294

Ah come on, the only fur she had was on her head
>>
>>134637495
What of it
>>
Nope, this thread will not die yet.

This is a bit off-topic and I do apologize, but I'm wondering if this kind of shonen appeals to the younger generation. I'm not seeing many Ushio to Tora references outside of these threads. But then again, not that many Osomatsu-san ones and that show is hardly a niche thing.

Mayuko doesn't care for something as petty as winning any bowl. She wants to jump both Ushio and Asako's bones.
>>

it's been clear since ep 1
>>
Asako is really cool. Easily best girl.
>>
>>134640255
Do they have a favorite character?
>>
>>134642000
Tora.

Though I might have told them he was one of my all-time favorite ones before they watched the show, and thus might have influenced them in that regard.
>>
>>134640255
Can those things even read?
>>
>>134642712
They're gonna be on 6th and... 3rd? grade next year.

Also, not murican nor niggers. So, yeah.
>>
>>134642782
Same here, my younger cousins enjoyed this anime, especially the 1st season. I guess I would too, with all the MotW going on. I know I love MotW shit when i was younger.
>>
Anyone here played the games?
>>
>>134627812
Mayuko a player FYI.
>>
>>134630352
What?
>>
>>134632709
Manga is far more superior than this mediocre anime adaption. Definitely one of the classic of shounen genre.
>>
>>134643909
I had play the SFC version, it's pretty hard.
>>
>>134644877
Anime only I'm guessing? Anon is referring to one of the most depressing events in the series.
Who has the panel of Ushio losing it at the Nakamura restaurant?
>>
>>134645523
Is there an English translation out there or do you have to know moon?
>>
>>134645662
No English Translation available. It's a side-scrolling platform game you don't need to know moon to play it.

>>134643909
The RPG has a translation. a bit of it anyways.

The one here>>134645662 has no need for moon knowledge but it's pretty BS. While I wouldn't call myself proficient in those sorts of games, I'd still have to say it has bad level design. I prefer using Ushio as he's smaller.

>>134645628
I think the guy meant the armor which, if you think about it, didn't really do shit or contribute anything. It's still a really cool callback though.
>>
>>134645224
I can't comment on the adaptation seeing how I have yet to read the manga, but as far as the show goes, it's been pretty great so far. I don't doubt that the manga tells the better story, but you always have to regard the anime as its own thing. It just werks.
>>
>>134629127
Kek
>>
>>134631703
>Also, it has a tsundere character that doesn't suck

Are you talking about Tora or Asako
>>
So will the motivation of these snake and toad guys be touched upon further, or were they really doing all this shit just out of curiosity?
>>
>>134648846
I imagine most monsters must be incredibly bored most of the time. They're immortal and live for centuries and the only hobby they seem to have is eating people. At least these two tried to have an additional hobby.
>>
>>134633843
I meant Tora returning back to life
