Look I'm not saying I'm calling bullshit (even though you're definitely e-statting), but some slight results don't really mean anything. EVERYONE is an ex-lifter if that's enough to qualify. I can drive to do my groceries without ever switching gears and I'll make it there just fine, doesn't mean it's somehow smart or that I'd have any clue how to drive efficiently or what's going on under my cars hood

If you want to get strong you better educate yourself about nutrition, training, how our bodies work, muscle groups and what not, instead of following an anime routine. As for your comment about it being pointless, when is being strong not 'pointless'? What do you want to even achieve?

Most people just make the mistake that they don't decide between building up muscles or improving endurance. If you do endurance training you will produce substances that will inhibit mucsle growth.

Sure.

If you want to lose fat, find a calculator that will tell you how many calories you burn each day. Then you reduce your calorie consumption by about 250-350kcal per day.

You can do this by either eating that much less (think a small chicken breast, 3 bananas, large bag of potato chips) or by expending that much more through exercise (ideally).

What's best is a combination of them both. Just find reasons to move about more. Go for walks, try swimming or running or whatever you might enjoy.

If you're a spooky skeleton then start eating like fuck. Get adequate protons and get a gym membership to use the weights room.

I recognize myself as being a complete and total fatass, but I have made some losses this year. I went from 300lbs from last year down to 255 as of yesterday.

Unfortunately, there's nothing really easy left for me to do to lose weight. I've dropped coke, I walk a mile to and a mile from work -- which used to kill me but no longer effects me -- so I think I have to do something more now.
