Hear this; when Mika's mother threw him off the car, I think he died. He broke his neck: that would have killed him under normal circumstances in how Kagami described his injuries. Although he was alive and somehow witnessed how his parents cars crashed and went up in flames.

Actually the whole broken neck thing was really weird when I first read the summaries. He should have died there for sure, especially a 4-5 year old kid that was sent flying from a running car.
And yes, my theory is that his angel (Michaela) kept him alive.

I doubt he went Seraph but I think it goes closer to the level of "Seraph already strong to keep his body from any harm" like a natural defense system. You know, his wounds always gave me the impression they are really bad but he seemed to recover from them pretty fast?
