The lack of Triela is upsetting.

She's dead, anon
My favorite
>>134558760
She's literally the worst girl. Even ballet chick was more interesting than her.
>>134562454
How was she worst girl?
>>134558760
Thats not Angelica.
>>134562505
Least interesting of the first four to me. Triela/Claes had great backstory arcs later in the manga. Rico/Jean had a unique dynamic. Henrietta just loses her memories while Joseph becomes more apathetic.

As a gun owner and enthusiast, this triggers the everloving fucking out of me.
>>134562839
Why? Her finger is clearly off the trigger when she does her inspection.
>>134562839
That's the intention anon. Somebody smacks her for being an idiot like 2 seconds later.
>>134562889
>ever pointing a gun at anything you don't intend to destroy
>especially at the range, behind the line, in live fire mode
Pic related.

Good. I hope they changed to airshit immediately afterward.
>>134562839
That's the point, this was her first time shooting and it jammed. She's not supposed to have known this before
>>134563496
They are training unwanted and damaged children to be assassins they don't really care about them anon.
>>134558760
they are all good, but triela is the best
>>134563496
They were unwanted and untrained children. Not much to stand in the way of them killing themselves by accident.
>>134563496
Speaking of which, how do you know she's not thinking of suicide? It's not out of the question given their circumstances.
I miss when this anime wasn't well known.
>>134566251
Because their 'conditioning' would prevent any such thoughts. If they were to kill themselves they would no longer be able to protect their handler; which is pretty much the single most important thing to any of the cyborgs. In fact the only way they would is if their handler told them to, creating a catch 22 situation. In fact that point is touched on briefly in the manga if I remember correctly.
>>134566395
Maybe it wasn't conscious? Not saying it was likely, just throwing out the possibility. I don't recall them really showing how strong the effects of conditioning were really. A lot of what was shown could be written off to simpler things like the handlers acting as their surrogate family / father figures.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. It has been a long time.
Did you guys enjoy the whole Pinocchio vs. Triela schtick?
Because I certainly did.
