Watch more anime. Always watch anime. I don't even know what a milestone would be for my backlog. I watch series new and old. I have finished just about every series that is highly rated on those lists and I am still watching anime and I'm not even worried about it because I'm sure some other older series that highly rated will come along soon too. Anime is a life time thing its not just a spur of the moment hobby for me.

Personally I like to take a short break, maybe about a week. It keeps the feeling of the show alive for a little longer. I never want to be one of the /a/ trolls who's seen 100000 anime and hasn't enjoyed it for years

As someone who has watched pretty much every animated gundam entry (yes, even Destiny and SD Gundam Force), I can honestly say there isn't a ton of gundam that is worth your time.
I do think every anime fan should watch 0079, movies or tv. That is an honest to god classic.
The only other gundam series that are worth your time in my opinion are 0080, Turn A, andX.
I feel bad because I wasted so much time watching cartoons made for children when I could be studying, searching for a good job or doing something more useful with my life.
Anime was a mistake.
