So this might be a weird question but what animays had a good transition into the ED?
I'm watching IBO and it has some top tier transition with action sometimes continuing into the credits and the ED coming in nicely during a good cut off point to the episode.

During fake last episode of Gintama, the ED played OP song instead and the visual is replaced with the recap videos of all previous episodes within that season. The shitstorm was beautiful.

People will tell you to read it, but you won't go wrong with skipping parts 1 and 2 by just watching the anime.
Araki wasn't exactly adept yet and the adaptation is delicious.
3 wasn't handled nearly as well.

Sora no Woto, Clannad After Story, and a few others all had that problem. Great songs by themselves but extremely jarring after the events in certain episodes.
Tatami galaxy flowed so well into the Ed.

There's also IBO this season, but something about the way they do it kind of feels off. I think it's because they go through the chorus before transitioning into the ED animation. From memory, I think KnK and Valvrave probably pull it off the best.

There were a couple of episodes where the somber ED playing over the final events of the episode was just entirely out of place, but the majority of the time it was really nice, just a shame the director or whoever decided to stick hard and fast to that decision for every single episode no matter what.
