Did anybody watch Cowboy Bebop as it initially aired? I was a 9 year old pleb watching DBZ after school on Toonami back then.

I remember watching it with my brother and his gf when it first aired here in the 2000's, good times, he even used to record the episodes on vhs so we could watch them at any time.

Wait, I just got flashbacks of recording some submarine show. Holy shit can anyone try and jog my memory. It was some post Apocalyptic show where the icecaps melted and there's very little land left. What even happens... I think there's some AI or alien species trying to take over the world? There are only like 6 episodes. I wish I remembered more details than that.

Watched it through a channel called Wowow, it was shown at 11 or 11:30 or something right before the midnight hentai/terriblypixelatedporn. I watched it at the time only because I tuned in at the episode where faye was introduced and I watched it everyweek since. I didn't understand moon at the time though, I was just watching for some faye valentine boobs like it was an appetizer before the real show.

El hazard and Steam Detective was what we were talking about when I was in highschool, so yeah, it didn't seem that popular with us during the time but that might also be attributed to the fact that it aired 11/11:30 on saturdays.

That's fucking it! I've been trying for years to remember that name! There was some weekend special where they showed an episode or two a night of it and I specifically remember throwing in a VHS to record the whole thing.
