The pacing is all over the fucking place, so most anons think it's boring as hell for the first 9 days.

It has an interesting storyline for a change. UBW and especially Fate put you to sleep.
Moreover it features best girl Sakura, who completely outclasses the other heroines. Rinfags and Saberfags are so insecure they resort to regurgitating "hurr durr worms" when at the end she is worm free. Notice how you never hear anything else from them, because both her body and personality put the other girls to shame.
Finally, HF is the canon ending as confirmed in the Tiger Dojo. Shame that Nasu decided to say that all routes were canon after realizing how much of a cash cow the series is.
There are shining moments mixed in with a lot of divisive things about the narrative.
It's significantly different from the previous two routes, but that's not inherently a good thing for some. Do you like the cast of servants you grew to appreciate in Fate and UBW? Well you're going to be getting a lot less of those. On top of that, it essentially replaces a chunk of the cast with new, or basically new characters.
Plus, there's the whole stuff about Shirou's ideals. I'm not saying the choices he made in HF are wrong, but after Fate and UBW, I grew to appreciate his stance in those routes, and to see him go away from them, well it wasn't my cup of tea.

I know it's the Sakura route and even though she's not my favorite I don't dislike her like others do but my favorite part of HF was everything with Kirei, Illya and Shirou. I thought the Sakura/Rin bits were somewhat boring.
