Soma is a better food anime, Koufuku is a better anime.
I do. It was pretty comfy, and had a consistent theme that tied the whole show together. It was one of my favorites that season, I don't get the hate for it.

I'm having a hard time believing this aired in 2015. I could've sworn I've had it sitting on my storage drive for at least a couple of years.
Somehow it just didn't catch my fancy, even though I don't really have anything bad to say about it. The artwork was great, the characters were cute and all, but I'm not big on depictions of food in shows, and since that was the little special something for this one, it just ended up missing the mark for me.
Loved the taberu bits at the end, though.

There's a lot of stuff like this which is really nice, but not spectacular. It the sort of show that gives off a theobromine or capsaicin buzz. There are always a handful of shows like this every season which either get ignored through perceived blandness, or pushback from making threads to discuss them at the time.
It was okay. When preview guides said it would be about cooking, I was kind of hyped. Then it was about lesbians getting off on food and it got stale pretty quick. The preview song at the end of each episode was nice though.
