Any modern video player will let you adjust the playback speed. I'd suggest starting at 1.5x speed. You can adjust to this really quickly and easily. But with that much of a backlog, you probably want to keep going. You can get used to anything up to around 3x speed without missing any detail. At 4 or 5x, I think it's more like 'skimming', but you still will get at least the major details. Just find a speed that's comfortable. It's a useful skill in general to develop, if you care about anime and want to keep up with everything currently airing and catch up on older ones that seem interesting.
