2007-2008 was cancer, but fun cancer none-the-less.
2009 was truly fucking awful between Tagia, Lanced Jack, Gorespammer, n/a/ruto, etc.
2010 had its moments, Crashing the board when Highschool of the Dead's first episode aired, the start of some good anime.
2011 was highs and lows. One one hand, you had /a/ solving the Madoka runes in 24-48 hours, Steins;Gate threads, and fun. On the other hand, we had shit like the start of YotsubaC, Accelspammer, the bullshit with -generals (infamously raildex generals).
2012 was shit, but it was a pretty shit year in anime too, so nothing else to say, really. Elitists abound, really just an unfun year.
2013 I wouldn't know becausework forced me overseas
2014 /a/ really turned around. It felt like a bit of a cesspool from 2012 but it's been cleaned up. Rec threads are more or less gone (especially the absolute shit ones) generals are pretty limited, really not bad.
2015 has been fun so far. Here's to another year with you anons.
