Chapter 34, part 1:
http://pastebin.com/AFSEzb6j

Chapter 34 Part 2:
http://pastebin.com/4hxcxjxr

Chapter 35:
http://pastebin.com/uFsCdJVr

At least 35 was of a reasonable length. All that's left is the script for the 68 pages of chapter 36, and volume 8 will be done.

Also, I may be going slightly insane but I'm sure that navelwort means the same thing in the Victorian language of flowers as it does in Japanese. I just can't find the source on that, but I think I saw it mentioned somewhere.

Interesting tidbit that I dug up on Waltzing, and Viennese Waltzing in particular, when it was first introduced to Europe. This comes from Lord Byron, the poet, under his pseudonym of Horace Hornem.

>...went to a ball at the Countess's, expecting to see a country dance, or, at most, cotillions, reels, and all the old paces to the newest tunes. But judge of my surprise, on arriving, to see poor dear Mrs. Hornem with her arms half-round the loins of a huge hussar-looking gentleman I never set eyes on before; and his, to say truth, rather more than half round her waist, turning round, and round, and round, to a damned see-saw up-and-down sort of tune, that reminded me of the "Black Joke," only more "affetuoso," till it made me quite giddy with wondering they were not so.

>By-and-by they stopped a bit, and I thought they would sit or fall down: - But no; with Mrs. H's hand on his shoulder, "quam familiariter" (as Terence said when I was at school), they walked about a minute, and then AT IT AGAIN, LIKE TWO COCKCHAFERS SPITTED ON THE SAME BODKIN.

Quam Familiariter: quite intimately
Affetuoso: affectionate
Black Joke: An old English drinking song, slightly smutty.

From the Times of London:
>...it is quite sufficient to cast one's eyes on the voluptuous intertwining of the limbs and close compressor on the bodies in their dance, to see that it is indeed far from the modest reserve which has hitherto been considered distinctive of English females. So long as this obscene display was confined to prostitutes and adulteresses, we did not think it deserving of notice; but now that it is attempted to be forced on the respectable classes of society by the civil examples of their superiors, we feel it our duty to warn every parent against exposing his daughter to so fatal a contagion."
>>
>>134455738
Prior to the introduction of the waltz, country dances or cotillions and reels were pretty much the only form of dancing seen at noble balls. These were more like stage-managed performances, with dancers switching partners in complex formations for the enjoyment of watchers. Waltz transformed dancing into a personal and intimate event for men and women paired together, reaching around to hold one another in ways that seemed scandalous to show in these genteel, public settings. It is from Viennese waltz that the four Standard Dances spring, to various degrees. So you can see, this whole series is about sex.

That line is already far from its original meaning.

ここのやつら
一組み残らず捲くるわよ

"Every bastard here
We'll roll them, leaving no pair left."
Would be an extreme verbatim translation

Bastard used as the やつら implies a fairly rude tone. Probably not as rude as bastard but English doesn't enjoy as wide an array of politeness without going crazy.

Rolling here carries the meaning of "fuck-em-up"

If you can think of something more fitting, have a go.
>>
>>134469174
Ah, okay! Thanks for the clarification. That's a pretty violent line, but it would be a bit difficult to express in English without sounding crazy.
>>
>>134468796
Really? I still have the Zip files, i will upload it to Zippyshare when i will have the time.

>>134469080
What font do you want to be there?

>>134469174
やつら can be used as "Those guys so "Everyone" work i think.
>>
>>134469370
>>134469174
That makes the line a lot more energetic. Wow.

How about
>We'll take out
>Everyone here.

Like mafia taking out hits?

>>134458440
>Couched
This is actually a verb, completely different from the noun coach or the verb coached. To say something is "couched" means to present something in a specific manner, such that it takes on the appearance of something else. You could say
>Gun control is often couched in terms of individual control by its opponents.
or
>Gun control is often couched in terms of public good by its supporters.
>>
Do you know when the other anon will release the chap 34?
>>
>>134469497
Somehow I don't feel the impact in just "We'll take out everyone here."

It's just so dull and boring. Chinatsu uses a very colorful language (granted, so do many other in this manga) so I wish to preserve some flourish wherever possible.

I do however like the mafia feel as she makes a reference to a hitlist later.

>We'll take out everyone here.
>No one will be left standing
And bold the "No one" part

>>134470012
He asked for the raws four days ago, along with a script, as QCanon hadn't gone through the chapter at that point yet. No news since but I imagine it to be soon.
>>
>>134470090
I think I agree, the impact is a bit lacking. I am a little unsure about having two full sentences there with the way that breaks up the flow though. But that probably is the best way to make it work.

Unless you want to go full bore into American slang and put
> We'll roll right over these bastards
>>
>>134470090
>And bold the "No one" part
The whole sentence is bold in the raw
>>
>>134470622
I figure if we were to do that, it'd have to be in a form where there was a natural pause to break it up.
>These bastards
>we'll roll right over them
I'd actually be fairly okay with this.
As long as it was all bold like this >>134471174 gentleman pointed out.

>>
>>134473599
I just need someone to release the chapter 34 for chapter 35.
>>
>>134473651
It is fairly context dependent on how it can be translated. There are cases where bastard is a fitting choice. The original leaves the word very open again with how it lacks kanji, allowing such interpretations.

I already made a note on how bastard may be too strong a word for this case but stuff like 'guys' or 'chaps' doesn't necessarily invoke the wanted gusto.

As long as our /a/nonEditor is willing, there's no reason there couldn't be more options explored.
