People who judge characters at through weighing the number of positive and negative traits at their face value are honestly morons. A girl could nil to almost none negative traits but still be unlikable for a variety of reasons ranging from doormat, boring, bland, too sugary, goody-two shoes, and so on. The reverse is the same, though.
That said, Eriri is simply the most interesting because of her flaws, development, and purity despite her weakness and mistakes. She also has a rather unique potion in the story that's closer to anti-heroine than a normal heroine, which makes her more fascinating because she can create and even more interesting plot and characterization for herself and others through conflict.

Maybe not shit, but she is definitely the worst among the main three. Eriri and Utaha are fun, engaging, carry out their own antics, and just generally fun. Their interactions with each other and towards the MC are highly entertaining. Megumi, on the other hand, is like the complete opposite, veering towards flat, dull, unexciting, and generally not fun.

I can see why you would think Eriri is the most interesting, but Megumi's role is equally if not more unique than her with the way she's written in the story. She's the cause and origin of everything so far and the greater focus goes on her, and yet her personality and motives are almost indiscernible for the reader, which that results in unpredictable actions that affect the story on a greater scale. That's what makes her the most interesting character in the series, in my opinion.

It's still intriguing. I agree that she is losing some of her original charm, but when drama arises that can't be helped. It will help her to come out as a stronger and better character later on. I'm not desperate for her development with Tomoya anyway. It will eventually come full circle. For now the issue with Eriri takes priority.

That's because the relationship between them isn't properly developed. And because of that, Megumi's depression and upset episodes feels empty and thin. Megumi is actually the creator of her own drama in regards to Eriri. She's wrapped up in trying to understand but she can't and that's eating at her. Instead of letting it bug her, it's better if she accepted and confront Eriri so the two of them can make up.

He was not insulting her as much as he was simply being drastically blunt and honest, but also exaggerating like a clown by applying his otaku expectations to her. But that's what made it fun for her too; he opened up a new fun world to her, was willing to spend time introducing her to it, and she enjoyed calling him out on his unrealistic and ridiculous scenarios every time.

Not really. Saekano is actually a really good harem show. There aren't many inner monologues, the comedy is good, and I would even say the directing is good considering how memorable the last scene of episode 3 was. Adaptation-wise, it takes liberties with the source material because it knows that what works in a text medium doesn't always work in a visual medium, like how the argument between Eriri and Tomoya played out very differently in the anime from how it played out in the novel.
