I have 91 different anime in my backlog, which i haven't even downloaded yet.
20min per animeskipping the OP and ED average of 24episodes per anime.
91 x 24 x 20 = 43680min
43680 / 60 / 24 = 30,333days of pure anime to finish this backlog

if we say, i'll have time enough to watch 2hours of anime a day.
43680 / 120 = 364 days of anime to finish this backlog

What do you think anon-chan?

I fucking detest maths.

Kill yourself OP

You made a misake here with a comma instead of a decimal. You're saying it is over 30 thousand days of anime.

Assuming you watch 2 hours of anime, yes, that isn't too bad-- provided you only clear you backlog.

in my country "," is used instead of "."
pls no bully desu senpai
>>
>>134405914
Germany? I know Germany does this.
>>
>>134405914
Then what do you do to show the thousands?
>>
>>134406125
with periods duh
>>
>>134406161
No country that uses the comma as decimals uses periods for thousands, they use a space.

I smell a cankek.
>>
>>134406207
>they use a space
wrong.
>>
>>134405914
Never really understood this. A "." makes more sense as a ending point. It's used for sentences as way to end them. It's like a wall. And a "," is good for stringing things together, like that comma I just used right there. It's sort of like a rope to swing to the next set of things.

But whatever, I'm not trying to start anything. I just always found it odd.

Are you retarded?

Why did you post this? What do you want us to say? I can't tell if this is a blogpost or what.

Green - Comma
Red - Eastern Arabic numerals
Grey - Data unavailable

I'm going to colonize Antarctica as a Comma continent.
>>
>>134406353
Because it's the same thing for most episodes, the only problem is that sometimes there is extra content after the ED.
>>
>>134405641
>average of 24 episodes
But the average anime is 1 cour.
Only around 33% of the anime in your backlog should be 2 cour.

>wasting time watching OP/ED after the first episode
Why even bother.
>>
>>134406368
There are 2 different greens in that image, though.
>>
>>134406353
I would maybe watch the OP and ED more than once if it was really good. Other than that, fuck that shit.
>>
>>134406471
Canada uses points in English and commas in French.
>>
>>134406471
Probably to indicate; they use both.

A mix of green and blue; making much like the color show, a nice teal.

Use your brain for a couple of seconds or maybe you're colorblind.
>>
>>134406294
I guess the point is that for the average /a/non, if you have an average backlog and keep up with some current shows it would take you literally over 1.5 years to clear it assuming you're watching an average of 14 new shows per season, with the stipulations that OP provided.
The moral of the story is you can clear your backlog if you gave enough of a shit, but we'd much rather shitpost on 4chan than do so.
>>
>>134406628
2 hours a day would be 14 hours a week.

If a 12-episode anime is ~4 hours; then you could be finishing 3 series a week(and still catch all the OP/ED). And 12 a month; not even accounting for binge-watching on weekends/holidays. Which would be at least 144 a year; which is a lot more than people that post here these days have watched yet.
>>
>>134406723
Keep in mind, the OP in his stipulation is citing the average series in his backlog being a two-cours, by your standards, he is watching 72 shows or more yearly.
>>
>>134406628
You're making a lot of bizarre assumptions here. Why do you think 90 shows is an average backlog? Or that no new shows get on it? Or that people don't already watch two hours or more a day?
>>
>>134406548
Holy shit I am colorblind you asshole, wtf.

Joking aside, I just thought he left something out. I'm tired and it's late.
>>
>>134405641
Let's continue with this and add an average of three shows per season into your backlog. How many days would it take to finish your backlog if it were incremented by 7.89 mins of pure anime every day?
>>
>>134406368
Fucking Canada, south Africa and Costa Rica
>>
>>134406889
I'm honestly using OP's stipulations as a shitty first approximation. If I actually cared about the science, I would use strawpolls for the first and third points, and ignore the second since it's too hard to quantify.
My guess would be at least 1 and at most 4 24-episode anime equivalent per season added to the backlog.
Obviously, with three added to the backlog per season, with my stipulations, it would take a stupidly long time to clear the backlog, accounting for 4 weeks per year where there is nothing new airing, and with 4, it would literally be impossible to clear the backlog as the replacement rate would equal to the watch rate.
