My re-watch order tends to be episodes 1-8, Then movie 2 and 3.
Generally I think movie 2 did episodes 9-12 better than the series but movie 1 skips some stuff in 1-8 that's somewhat important.
That said Movie 1 is still worth a watch at some point.

Yes. Not very much is missing from movie 1, and movie 2 has no cut scenes. If you want to rewatch though, go for the series. You'll notice a couple more things being said and much more QUALITY
