Anon just came back from MADOGATARI. The concept movie was amazing. Unfortunately, visitors are allowed to enter the theatre only once (the event in one-way course, you're not allowed to return to the previous room, and only 10-20 person are allowed to enter the theatre at once) and there're staffs in the room, so never think about taking photos let alone videos.
Anyway, the concept movie was around 4 minutes long; from my memory (which may be wrong)- The concept movie starts with Madoka and Homura asking and answering "what is happiness?"
- The answer goes among the line of "Warm breakfast." "Family." "Someone calling my name." "Calling someone's name." (and handful few.)
- They concluded with "In the heaven, there is no such thing." "For god, there's no such thing." "That's why a lizard girl thought god is pitiful, and brought half of her to the world."
<This is where I cried like shit>
- The movie then show a huge statue falling from the sky.
- Someone 1 noted "There's a lot of cat here these days."
- Someone 2 noted "Looks like they're all dead cats."

Rebellion ended with Homura subconsciously knowing her world was incomplete, despite having Madoka. I think a post-credit scene will end like Rebellion, with Homura sitting in a chair. Except for this time, her world is complete and is resting her head on Madoka's shoulder. Signifying the story is over rather than half way done. The film will conclude with projecter running out of film As usual.

I agree. Madoka is the literal embodiment of hope. She wants to save magical girls from their burden of hate and despair. Homura has literally an embodment of self-hatred and loathing.
We have never truly seen how post-series Madoka feels about Homura. Only tidbits in Rebellion that implied she cared deeply for her very best friend.
IMO movie 4 will largely be from Madoka's view point and I think we will see how far Madoka is willing to go for Homura. We know how Homura feels. Now we're going to learn how Madoka feels. Homura will push her back at every turn, but at the end of the day she will save Homura.
If ( assuming we can trust the concept movie dialogue) Madoka was truly lonely in heaven, then Homura, already bound to Madoka by fate and karmic destiny, will spend eternity with her in the conceptual world with her best friend.

You know what? You're right. I can't agree with that too, because Madoka already stopped Homura during Rebellion from killing herself. She wouldn't accept it, and Homura killing herself could be too hard of a blow for Madoka.
But it is a vicious cicle because of their wishes. Homura needs to save Madoka. Madoka needs to save everybody but she doesn't save herself so Homura gains the upper hand until people need to be saved again, probably. Just got done watching all of the TV series and the 3 films. The last part of rebellion doesn't make much sense to me.
If Homura just let Madoka "save" her, Homura should have been able to be with Madoka forever, right? So what does she plan to accomplish by usurping Madoka and making her a powerless puppet like that?
The way Madoka currently is, she can not love Homura, whereas if Homura just let Madoka collect her soul gem, then wouldn't Homura and Madoka be able to not only be together but both be fully aware of each other?

What was the point of Kyouko Sakura sacrificing herself when she was battling Sayaka (witch form)? It seemed unnecessary. Kyouko's motivations throughout the TV series and Rebellion seem to come out of nowhere. I get that she relates to Sayaka in relations to 'why' she became a Magical Girl in the first place, but that doesn't really seem like enough to base all of her resulting actions on. Where does their friendship even really stem from in the first place? When Kyouko takes Sayaka to the church, it seems that their motivations do not line up, and not that much later, Kyouko dies for what appears to be really no reason other than pity for Sayaka being alone(?) following the events that led her to turning into a witch. Is there something i'm missing? What role did Kyouko even play in this series as a whole? I kinda feel like Kyouko's existence isn't even necessary to the plot all that much, and that makes me feel sad considering how much I liked her backstory.
