I remember reading this as it came out, spent years with a delinquent manga hard on.

I really miss reading this series fresh. It was a real gem. It was because of one of these threads that I first read KKOW. Thanks for always posting these threads OP.

are you kidding me right now, you're going to leave it at that?
>>134129131
Oh god dammit, I thought that was the end of the arc, instead the last chapter is in the next volume. Fuck it I don't have time, I'll dump it later tonight.
>>134126737
You began reading this around 1988?
>>134129696
He meant the scans. They came out in like 2010 or something.
>>134130709
It's still fun to entertain the notion that somebody here might have read it as it was being published.
>>134132067
There are some nips on here, but I doubt any are that old.
My only real issue with it was that it ended. I felt really empty for a while when it was over, and I couldn't really find anything that filled the hole it left.
>>134132127
I do recall seeing some thread where a guy said he grew up in Japan during the 80s, so maybe it isn't that far-fetched.
>>134132619
That's when Ocha Nigosu comes in.
>>134133217
AND ITS SCANS ARE DEAD!
>>134133410
Not quite, it's just that there's only 1 girl working on the very last volume on her own, as far as I know she's doing it all in one go to release it but it's also possible she put it on hold.
>>134133217
It's nowhere near as good though.
>reading KKOW
>they keep using kappa as an insult
Fuck Twitch and its cancer for ruining that word.
>>134133217
I just realized how much he looks like Itou.
>>134133217
I'd rather read Doshirou de Gozaru.
>>134133867
It's still pretty good for a high school Sol.
>>134133884
He looks nothing like Itou.
>>134134173
In the later chapters when he's giving someone a glare Itou has the same face.
>>134133877
What?
>>134137372
Just some emoticon on a shitty video game streaming site.
Any news on the Bakuon Rettou editor?
>>134139133
Surely but slowly, nearly all of the next volume is translated.
Apparently Gang King was one a 2 year hiatus but it is now back, too bad for as the scans are 20 volumes behind anyways but at leas some good news to hear, maybe one day. I don't really remember much from it but it had some pretty funny shit here and there. And it was also kinda cool that the MC had some sort of focus in his life wanting to be a tattoo artist.
>>134140809
I liked the art and character designs a lot, and that vibrator guy was funny. Scans were all pretty shit iirc anyways.
Damn these just keep getting deader.
>>134141960
The number of people remains the same as always, it's just that people get tired of commenting if there's nothing new to discuss, and if by any chances there's something new like >>134140809 chances are not many know about the subject or got anything to add to the discussion.
Just watched the KKOW anime, that was a great fucking adaption, loved the ED
>>134145150
Which series is that? pretty new to delinquent manga
>>134145204
Angel Voice, it's delinquents with a big mix of soccer. If you're familiar with Rookies then it's exactly like that excluding the baseball. I recommend both even if you don't like either sport.
>>134145435
Thanks for the recommendations anon, I dont like basketball or football but that hardly stopped me from enjoying Kuroko's basket and Captain Tsubasa, so it shouldnt affect my bearing on them
>>134145519
Baseball not basketball, if you want delinquents with Basketball try Ahiru no Sora or Slam Dunk but the delinquency scale is way lower on those than in Angel Voice or Rookies.
>>134147021
Woops, misread, thanks for pointing that one out
OP here, I'll dump the last chapter in an hour.
>>134148837
Cool.
>>134150917
And THAT's all for tonight. Thanks for reading.
>>134150960
Thanks for finishing the arc.
Any manga/anime about delinquent females? I just watching Gokusen and that put me onto it.
>>134153455
Yeah, they're called Sukeban. Sukeban Deka and Hot Road are pretty good, also there's Hana no Asukagumi but that's barely translated.
>>134153512
Thanks, I'll check them out.
>>134153512
Hana no Asukagumi's author wrote another sukeban manga too.
>>134154391
Wasn't it a sequel?
>>134154410
I was talking about a series she did before Hana no Asukagumi, but it does have a sequel.
>>134154899
Oh cool, is it translated at all?
>>134126737
>tfw you will never read GTO or KKOW for the first time again
I will, since I haven't read them yet.
