But it usually has two different English sub tracks, one made to accompany the English dub (signs and shit) and the other made to accompany the original Japanese audio (the actual subs). And they're both tagged as English with the dub one being the default, so you still have to manually change subs every episode.
I'm ripping the Lain dvds now and I put the English audio in for completeness' sake. It's First, but it can be changed to Jap with subs in two keystrokes.
I don't know why people make a big deal out of dual audio. To me, not having a choice between two or more is dumb, and the rippers that just go with only Japanese out of purism are idiots.

Shouldn't really be a problem. Dual audio releases are usually awful looking Funimation/other trash and use their subs.
If the only available releases have dual audio/fanfiction/AMVs or whatever else the autistic uploader has included, you can always just manually remove it. It's not that hard.

Unfortunately I can't answer this because I'm not an encoder and anime that has dubs and a BD release almost always is dual audio. And when they do it's exclusively FLAC so the file size might get a little "bloated".

I'm not completely sure, but I did a recent rip of the complete Cowboy Bebop series on DVD with English dub and Japanese with subs with FLAC. Bitrate was set to 3000.
Each episode averages between 750-800MB. Looks amazing.

Because English dubs are better than Japanese dubs. If there is a choice between an eng dub and a jap dub, i always pick the enlish one. Thank god, that so many anime have dubs these days. I watch dubs because i want to listen to the dialogue and i cant understand moonspeak. And also, the Japanese voices sound really monotone and half of the voices dont fit the characters anyway.
