I see posts like these on /a/ and I wonder what the fuck these users enjoy, because anime is such a fledgling artform (really being generous there) that it's impossible the best it provides would not already have been discussed extensively
On /mu/, /lit/, and /tv/ you're able to take these claims more seriously because only the most popular of the respective arts are discussed, whereas those with more esoteric tastes can rightly claim their seat on the erudite throne as it were (or just up and leave altogether)
Of course one possible explanation is that the best shows have *already* been discussed to death and /a/ is perpetually stuck in a cycle of moeshit and action shows no one reaaally gives a shit about (and which were done much better in the film medium) in which case, I have to wonder what keeps you coming to this board - habit?
