Am I like, the only one who likes the style of 1980s -1990s anime?
I mean the modern style is all well and stylized and good, but the classic style feels like a blend of eastern and western styles in terms of how they draw people (more realistic I guess?), but it keeps the same artistic choices and styles when drawing action and backgrounds, and the musics is just like painfully 80s.
The Starship Troopers anime is a good example of what i'm talking about.

maybe i'm crazy I dunno, my favorite Anime is still Space Battleship Yamato and it's from 1974, but I just love the story and characters the art style had little to do with that one.

Isayama's can't handle proportions or appealing faces at all, and the coloring and those thick lines in the anime just make it worse.

If you're going to make a thread about something, let it be about the topic itself, mentioning yourself only when it's pertinent. Blog threads either die or get a small amount of replies insulting it, and an even smaller amount of replies (mostly from the op) defending it.

Look champ, you had good intentions and the topic itself wasn't bad, but the delivery was poor. Go to the catalog and compare your thread to the others. I can't guarantee how much mileage it'd get, but making a thread like "Post favorite anime styles" or "What's /a/'s favorite decade of anime style?" would get you much better feedback.
