I just don't feel like it would translate well, maybe if it was anime original stuff or the oneshot.
imagine the cancer that would invade when the usual anime adaption happens, now imagine that ten times worse than any slice of life, meme anime, or manime show. that's what would happen if this got an anime. also things don't need to be adapted

I think an OVA would work nicely if it reworked manga content to flow together. Like having yotsuba goof off at the neighbor's house followed by a trip to a store with the gang on the way to the hot air balloon ride. Pretty fucking comfy half hour right there.
He was butthurt about how he didn't have directorial levels of control over Azumanga's adaptation. That's all. Everyone knows it's true and the bullshit public statements otherwise are just typical Jap shit where we say one thing to be polite in public and play a great big game of pretend.
