Most trends like this grew so popular at my school they got banned. That's not to say I was well-adjusted, but who played games wasn't the best source of perspective there.
Some teachers just liked stealing. Including, but not limited to the above, and eating confiscated food in front of us during the lesson. Beyblades were really fucking fun when I was a kid.
Bought this fucking full metal frame beyblade with literal knives protruding the edges from some chinese shop and fucked around in the park with it. I made so many kids salty because when the two beyblades would collide mine would literally shred the other one to pieces and sometimes even fling it out of the ring.
One day there was this fuck boy with one of those remote controlled beyblades that just never stopped spinning, I lost two rounds, but on the final round I just ripped the beyblade on his as hard as possible and broke the fucking thing in half sent him crying home to mommy. Man I miss beyblades
