Basicallyafter the two main characters were the only ones with an extra evolution for a while, they introduced a gimmick of having the other characters give up their digimon forms and become completely useless in order for the two maims to get a new form each. Said new forms then proceeded to job to two royal Knights for 10 episodes before defeating them out of nowhere because they got used to fighting them or some shit.It's a shame.
