I wanna discuss itHow exactly did the divergence change to the Steins Gate worldline when the sending of the D-mail was what caused it to shift? I get that Kurisu's death was averted but doesn't Okabe send the mail not knowing she's actually alive? Or am I missing something?

Divergence changed it by df_x/dx + df_y/dy + df_z/dz, of course!

Okabe does send the text after Kurisu is fake killed, then goes through the whole scenario again leading back to him standing in the lab after everything was resolved.
The whole point of the fake murder is so that whole cycle will always continue. It being fake means that after the vn the characters continue onto Steins;Gate rather than to Russia x USA WWIII

>>134026162Because of Reading Steiner, Okabe is the only one who notices divergence shifts. He's the only one who "travels" to the different worldlines, and so when the him traveled forward in time, he was able to essentially skip all of the jumping and end up at the perfect worldline.
Unless they decide to explain how divergence actually works however, there's not much of a reasonable explanation for that.
