Is that why you spoilered it, because you knew it was crap? For fuck's sake nigger.
from the screenshots I've been able to see, it looks like the main adversary of the film uses late-war/post-war equipment; M26 Pershings (late 1944, early 1945) and what looks to be either a Mk II or Mk III Centurion, the former of which was just before the war ended, and the later of which didn't enter service until 1948.
So this school which appears to model itself after the UN appears to be actively bending or breaking the rules.

Go on the /ak/ wiki. It lists pretty much all the side material. Little Army is pretty important, as it's basically a prequel, RIbbon Warrior is pretty greatIf you don't mind rampant lesbians, Maginot is about a practice match with a french school, Motto Love Love or whatever it's called is a pretty funny gag manga, and Little Army 2 is, you guessed it, a sequel to Little Army that takes place after the main series. Oh, and if you haven't already read it, the official manga is pretty decent, especially if you like Yukari, although the Anzio battle got retconned by the OVA. I probably forgot some things, as their is a lot of extra material for GuP.

Switching the verb choice around a bit can significantly improve this sentence:
"but i never thought i would be able to hold this child again, so i hadn't considered what would happen if she ever returned to me."
Actually the most natural way to word it would probably be:

Have to agree. It provides no capability that the other tanks already hadn't (thePershings'90mm and theCenturion's17-pdr were more than able to deal with any Oarai tank), while being a liability itseelf. (Only tonk in "Oarai Z" that could stand to those guns would be theTiger II, and even so only through the front armor - sides were still vulnerable, and a single tonk in a vs30battle, that's not an "unlikely happenstance", but a certainty).
Hey, even theKarl-Gerathad a bigger reason to be, if the OST track names are to be trusted. But the T28 is just dildos.

>she said she's going to do an all-nighter doing repairs
"she said she was going to pull an all-nighter doing repairs"
"do an all-nighter" is awkward for two reasons: "pull an all-nighter" is way more idiomatic, at least as far as my experience and limited research go, and "do" and "doing" echo awkwardly in the sentence. Also I'm assuming she's tired because she was up LAST night doing the repairs, meaning it should be past-tense.
>>134031544
>So that they are
I think this is intended as "So they are"? As in, she's just agreeing with the previous statement that kanji are the best. "So that they are" would imply that she is performing some action in order to make it so that kanji are the best. So if she's just agreeing, then it should be "so they are" or "yes they are" or "that's so"
>we've got same tanks

>>134031579
>since we're at it
"while we're at it" is a little more idiomatic, but that's a quibble
>want to attach school emblems onto them
"attach" is usually more about joining two parts, which arguably works, but any of these would be a bit more fitting:
put
paint
mark
Also "onto" would probably be better than "on" here.
"while we're at it we want to print school emblems onto them."

>we will be moving to the special stage prepared by association with a ship
I'm a little confused by this. Did some "association" prepare the stage? Then it should be "prepared by the association" and if they're moving via ship to the stage, then it should be "on a ship" or "via ship."
"we will be moving to the special stage prepared by the association on a ship."
Even so, it's a bit ambiguous. It still sounds like the association used the ship to prepare the special stage. This is the most clear:
"we will move via ship to the special stage prepared by the association."
OR maybe I'm confused and it's actually meant to say that we will move by means of association with a ship. Like our team will "associate" with a ship and then that ship will take us to the special stage which has been prepared. In that case "association" is a really odd word choice. I feel like there's probably some appropriate (possibly nautical) jargon which would be correct here, but barring that, you've got stuff like "rendezvous," "assemble," and "muster" or even "board"
so like:
"we will board a ship which will move us to the special stage which has been prepared."
"we will rendezvous with a ship which will move us to the special stage which has been prepared."
Something like that. This is probably too much effort for one speech bubble.

>>134032224
Damn. Those new scenes from the movie.
>>134032970
Oh, they're actually attaching the FLAG to the tank? In that case it was probably better before, hah. What would really clear it up would be to change "emblem" to something like "flag" or "banner." "Emblem" usually refers to the symbol or device itself, not the physical banner it's printed on. That they're going onto the tanks is pretty clear:
"while we're at it, we want to attach school banners to them."
This would be totally fine.

Argh, I'm not British but since I'm Europe I'm kind of influenced, I tried to translate this one into more of American English but it still shows, eh.

>Sturmtiger is short range - K gets used for stupidly long range. That's why I mentioned it does have a niche (in a battle so big, you can afford to have one niche tonk)
I didn't say it didn't have a niche. I said the consquences are huge, unpleasant, and totally not worth it. The explanation itself gets unpleasant, but bear with me - hopefully I set up the spoiler tags right so the wrong parts don't show (no preview function).
The biggest difference is that Sturmtiger is definitey legal, whileKarl Geratis definitely NOT based on the rules they've laid down so far. Based on common sense, it isn't a tank or even an armored fighting vehicle - it is a railway seige gun that can shuffle off the rails a bit. In a technical sense, its base is definitely WWII technology, but it is not even open-topped - the crew is completely exposed and has to be. From reviews, what seemed to have happened is that they closed-up and automated the thing[1] (automationof loading 500mm plus shells is not WWII technology) and the Chairman of the JSF approved the whole lot.
So, they named the JSF Chairman afterMutaguchi Renya and Tsuji[2], sohe isn't a good guy, he's in cahoots with MEXT and so he approved it. We can almost leave it at that, but there's University All-Stars team, who accepted and employed the weapon.Think about what this choice makes them.

The fact isThe federation decide what is and isn't legal. You can argue that they were making shit up but them's the breaks. The fact is as soon as you have a united team of all the characters you can no longer play by normal rules and still have an interesting and challenging game. The rules are broken to make things harder, and the university students have no reason to disagree with the organisers. The University students don't know the stakes and just think of it like a crazy match. Do the uni students even know Oorai is at stake or not?

Japan's Kuromorimine's is all right. It's the team of Japanese school Kuromorimine, thus Japan's Kuromorimine's team.

Let me put it this way.You are a top-level university kendoist. One day, you are told that your TEAM is to fight ONE high-schooler. Around the same time, the authorities send you a beautiful katana complete with sharp steel blade. The day of the match, authority comes and swears they've cleared all the red tape you can use the katana in the match. You will:
1) not at least suspect Authority is antagonistic to said High-Schooler
2) not suspect that regardless of the authority's words, such a course of action (using a clearly illegal weapon) will make *you* not only a rule-breaker, but a criminal? The authority will have a million escape routes to your none once you actually employ it.
3) even if you are *sure* you won't be prosecuted, not feel the slightest moral reticence against using such a weapon when you are already a university student TEAM picking on a high-schooler (remember, up until the morning of the match it was supposed to be 30:8).
Really, you will have no cause to argue with the organizer?
>>134034106

>>134034044
The hair looks pretty much the same. And that's really the only way I differentiate most of the characters.
>>134034172
I am sure even though it was illegal, at no point was it meant to kill anyone. It might seem hard to believe but I doubt physical harm was intended. It is just a shocking super-weapon that looks good on screen and the intent wasn't murder.
>>134034172
Considering you haven't even seen the movie personally, trying to speculate on character's behaviors and motivations off someone else's reviews - which have a chance of being biased or inaccurate - means that any premature judgement becomes just that: premature.
It's why I don't look at reviews before I see a movie, because I don't want my judgement to be clouded by someone else's personal impression.
Besides, this is Girls Und Panzer, where the safety gear used is made out of Deus Ex Machinium to enforce the no violence claus. I doubt even a superweapon like that was meant to kill.
There it is, chapter 7 including all the changes.
