Usually I hate CGI in 2D shows but at least they mix it up quite well somehow here, it's not the best CGI, it just works, it's not overdone and its necesary, can you imagina having to draw every frame of the race?
Of course, that would look sick, I hope we can get a fully hand drawn Initial D movie or some shit, that would be cool as balls.
