S1 of Nurarihyon no Mago was abysmal, animation-wise and story-wise. Then they went and replaced the director and S2 was beautifully done. Just goes to show that the studio's name doesn't mean shit – the director makes all the difference. DEEN just happens to have a lot of shit directors.
