Gahara is loving and devoted towards Araragi, but she is still a pretty selfish person in other ways. For example, at the end of Bake, when everyone went looking for Shinobu when Araragi asked then, Hitagi was the only one who refused simply because she hates kids. Or in Owari 3, she refuses to listen to any of Hanekawa's explanation of what's going on with Oshino simply because she doesn't like Oshino, even though that's important information she should be relaying to Araragi.
It's nothing shockingly awful, but it does rub me the wrong way. Every time I think I can warm up to her, she does something that puts me off.

What? She very clearly stated the reason was because setting up for the school festival (that Hanakawa asked her to) was the best thing she could do to help the current situatio (helping Hanakawa). Pretty sure that scene wasn't supposed to be interpreted as her lying her way out of something because she dislikes kids.

It is, though I guess what bothers me is that Nisio doesn't really treat her flaws as flaws, especially compared to how hard he is on his other characters. Everything about Senjougahara after Crab is essentially treated as a "quirk" rather than something that's supposed to be a real problem.
