Watched the movie last night and I gotta say I was pleasantly surprised and thought the movie was well done. Though personally I wish they included an extra 30 minutes explaininghow the accident occurred, how they created an upside down city of Aiga and how many years it took for the totalitarian government to wipe away the history of who the inverted ones truly are

I finally figured out that they could only have sex with well placed acrobatics.
I got a sense of vertigo and being upside down for about an hour after watching this. It was a fun movie for the most part.

Neat concept, but the world and the characters were so flat and boring that it was hard to feel any kind of excitement watching the movie. Scenes like the kids going to school on a fucking conveyor belt to hamfistedly illustrate "muh totalitarian society with no individualism" were so over-the-top and made the movie even harder to take seriously.
That soundtrack was fucking incredible though.

Pretty good movie. Unfortunately, when they landed on their "sun" I thought it was another planet seemingly uninhabited and for some reason I didn't piece it together until after the fact. So a lot of the intricacies were lost on me.
The whole perspective switching seemed fairly coherent to me, IDK what you guys are talking about.
It's good, but far from being Yoshiura's best. I wish it had more chemistry between the main characters and less "No, you are the inverted!" plot twists.
