All Saki did was to warm his place before he pushed her away to go for him.

That whole arc point was to alienate Saki from Haruto and have Haruto choose L-Elf in episode 13. Shoko wouldn't have found out because it was simply unimportant.
Literally the only time Saki talks to Haruto face to face in a decent way was after she rescues him in the Moon, and by then he's more into L-Elf and Shouko despite the betrayal.

I don't know what the staff was thinking at all.
Anime like these seem to just have different rules for the plot. Its like, every episode is self-contained even there they are trying to tell a greater story.
L-elf's and Saki's antics were the highlights of the show. Especially when she jacked Haru's body and hit on the blonde stuco.
But for the sake of sanity don't try to think too hard about what it all means.
