Depends on how much you 'don't remember', honestly. Do you know the names of the characters (that includes the digimon and their evolutions) plus the basic relationship between the human characters? Like who was the 'mom' of the group, the 'leader' of the group, the 'nerd' of the group and stuff like that?
Then you should be able to watch the movie and understand. There might be some parts that escape you and that would require watching the original series (and 02), but as far as basic enjoyment go you can get it without watching the entire thing.
It's very much recommended to watch the original series as the movie progresses, though.

I didn't get /a/'s hate for 02. But I rewatched both Adventure and 02 (actually I'm still watching 02) and now I kinda get it. Adventure is definitely better.
